  • Virtual Reality

    Our experience with Virtual Reality goes back to the end of the 90s.

    Virtual Manufacturing has used Virtual Reality (VR) as a tool to navigate and visualize since the end of the 90s. At that time a SGI Onyx2 computer was used together with a headset with 263 x 230 pixels per eye. Today we use VR within several areas:

    • Layout projects
      • The entire team can walk around in different concepts suggestions which will ease decision making.
      • Flow simulations can be visualized in VR to increase the understanding.

    • Virtual training
      • Operators can be trained in VR to be prepared before they are going out in the real environment.

      • New work stations can be built in VR to get better feedback on changes.
      • Current work stations can be evaluated in VR.
      • Virtual Comissioning can be done in VR.

  • AGV – Automated Guided Vehicles

    An AIV is the new generation of AGV solutions that have begun to emerge on the market. The big difference between an AGV and an AIV is how they see and navigate through a factory.

    Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Autonomous Intelligent Vehicles (AIV)

    Traditional AGVs follow a pre-determined route with the help of optical or magnetic reading of the track in the floor. AVI is the next generation of AGVs that scans its surroundings and calculates the best way to its destination. The scan gives information about objects and people that are in the way, but also takes redevelopments of the factory into regard which requires reprogramming if you have a traditional AGV.

    Automatically controlled vehicles have become an important part of the material handling in many factories and storages. AGVs optimizes the production processes, increase the safety, reduces the costs and can in general be implemented in all current production processes with little modification.

    Arkites Human Interface Mate (HIM) transforms workinstructions to a digital and interactive environment. Visual workinstructions is the way to go to eliminate errors in production and logistics processes.

    Arkites Human Interface Mate (HIM) transforms workinstructions to a digital and interactive environment. Visual workinstructions is the way to go to eliminate errors in production and logistics processes.

    HIM gives the operator picking- and assembly instructions through AR and gives warnings when the tasks are performed in the wrong way. The smart sensor validates if the sequence is performed in the right way and eliminates human errors. HIM can be integrated to your other systems, such as Avix, MES and ERP-systems.
